At the edge of Saas-Grund you find the newly reconditioned appartmenthouse Atlas for 2-20 persons. The cosy appartments, all with balcony, invite you to relaxation. An ideal house for summer an winter, for families and groups. Reserved parking space. In the house you find: Games- and videoroom with table football, wifi, library, books store, also wine from the privat winecellar of the family Gysel. Washing machine, Skiroom. groups can use the (hotel)kitchen and dinner hall on the ground flour.

In summer, you can benefit from the Saastal Card (included in the tourist tax), which allows free use of most mountain railways and all post buses in the Saas Valley.

Christoph Gysel is the tourism pastor of the Evangelical Reformed Church of the Canton of Valais and is therefore responsible for organizing Protestant guest services in the larger tourist resorts of Upper Valais and for weddings in this region. He is married, has three adult sons, and lives in Saas-Grund.

Surrounded by 18 four-thousand-meter peaks, a unique mountain and glacier landscape full of adventures awaits you. You can find all the experiences on a clear panoramic map.
Easily accessible by gondola, Kreuzboden above Saas-Grund truly lives up to its reputation as a family mountain. At Kreuzboden Adventure Land, children can let off steam, whether on the suspension bridge, the climbing walls, or the air trampoline. On a hot summer day, there's also plenty of room to cool off in our water play park.
Hohsaas
High up on Hohsaas, adrenaline junkies' hearts race. From here, the Hohsaas Trail for mountain biking, the Weissmies ascent, and the Glacier Adventure Tour start. Those interested in learning more about the Saas Valley's 18 four-thousand-meter peaks can embark on the dedicated themed trail. The Impressions Trail leads to the Weissmies Hut and then to Kreuzboden.
Saas-Fee
Car-free Saas-Fee (1,800 m above sea level) lies at the foot of Switzerland's highest mountain, the Dom (4,545 m above sea level), which can be admired particularly well from the world's highest revolving restaurant. In summer, numerous excursion destinations, 350 km of hiking and themed trails, and, last but not least, the village's cutest residents: the famous tame marmots, attract visitors. In the colder season, Saas-Fee, with its excellent snow conditions and beautifully groomed slopes, is THE mecca for winter (sports) enthusiasts and anyone who wants to become one.
